A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide dedicated nursing care within a high school setting in Joliet, Illinois. This contract position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM, supporting the health and well-being of students throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct nursing services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans, as well as managing general nursing needs such as attending to sick students and handling routine health concerns. The nurse will play an essential role in fostering a safe and healthy environment, collaborating with school staff and families to promote student wellness.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in school or pediatric nursing preferred
- Knowledge of IEP and 504 health-related accommodations
